Adverse Weather Arrangements and Emergency School Closures

The Head Teacher decides if and when the school should close due to bad weather or another emergency.  In bad weather this will be decided after receiving information about local weather conditions.  Decisions may be taken at any time during the day or evening.

Whilst every effort will be made not to close the school when pupils are already in attendance, there may be circumstances where this cannot be avoided. 

It may be decided to close the school prior to the start of the school day, again based on local weather arrangements along with transport concerns.

Any communication to close the school will be made using Groupcall.  Please ensure we have your current mobile number and email address for the system.
