Family Support

Welcome to our new Family Support page.

Our Family Worker, Lesley Ross, runs a variety of sessions, courses and family groups throughout the year with a focus on supporting families and young people. Lesley can be contacted at lesley.ross@fife.gov.uk and 07712 854036.

Key support Lesley offers:

Free school meal applications
Clothing grant applications
Education Maintenance Allowance (available from 7 July 2025)
Provision of courses for adults such as adult literacy, Family Cooking and Self Esteem and Confidence Building
Period Poverty
Breakfast Club
Support for pupils with school meals (Fusion app)

Lesley is always keen to meet and work with families and support their individual needs. Please feel free to contact Lesley using the details above. Family Support & Community Connections Fayre

We recently hosted our very first Family Support & Community Connections Fayre, welcoming over 30 organisations. The event was a great success, families had the opportunity to connect directly with services, access helpful information, and make self referrals where needed.

The organisations thoroughly enjoyed the day, especially the chance to meet families and network with one another. Keep and eye out for our next event.

Parent Achievement Awards

At this years whole school awards, we had the wonderful opportunity to celebrate the parents who have taken part in our parental engagement courses over the past year. It was fantastic to see their hard work, dedication, and commitment recognised. I've thoroughly enjoyed watching their confidence grow as they worked towards gaining qualifications in a relaxed supportive environment. A huge well done to all involved. Join us for Family Cooking this Summer

Looking for something fun to do over the summer holidays? We have spaces in our Family Cooking Sessions, these sessions offer a relaxed and welcoming space where families can cook together, learn new skills and enjoy quality time together.
