Pupil iPad Documentation
Parental Agreement Document
Set out below are the parental agreement documents which have been sent via groupcall to parents/carers which needs to be returned prior to the pupil deployment.
In addition to this documentation we have set out below detail of the process which will be followed should there be damage to an iPad.
Pupils will receive:
- An iPad 11th generation device
- A protective case and panzer screen protector. Pupils should not swap the case for another model.
- A charging plug and cable
Reporting a damaged iPad
All damaged iPads should be reported to the Guidance Teacher in the first instance. The school will then assess the most appropriate course of action in respect of whether the device can be repaired or if it needs to be replaced.
Depending on the circumstances, there may be a cost involved in respect of the repair/replacement of the device. It is suggested for a first repair parents/carers will be asked to contribute 50% of the repair costs and if there is further damage 100% of any future repair costs. However, each case will be assessed individually.
The potential costs are set out below for reference.
| Item | Potential Cost (1st repair) | Potential Cost (2nd repair) |
| Damage to screen | £70 | £150 |
| Damage to charge port | £65 | £140 |
